Attending Startup School by YC

Drill Surgeries is always interested in learning, as we have shared in previous posts, our CEO and other members of the startup have participated in accelerators, tech/health conferences, webinars, etc.

Recently, the new batch for the SUS startup school just started and our CEO, Moises Barbera, will be representing Drill Surgeries in this worldwide growth experience for the next 8-10 weeks.

This Startup School was created by Y Combinator (YC) - https://www.ycombinator.com/ - a startup accelerator considered by most the best in the industry. Many well-renowned tech startups in our century attended Y Combiator, including Dropbox, GitLab (which we discussed in the past), Twitch, Reddit, Airbnb... which confirms the expertise of the partners at YC teaching entrepreneurs how to do things well.

During the SUS Startup School, Moises Barbera is participating in daily talks given by the same professors teaching at Y Combinator while collaborating in weekly talks with other founders from all over the world. As we have mentioned in the past, collaboration and teamwork is a key pillar in Drill Surgeries' culture, and this format is putting us into contact with hundreds of great people and startups.

The launch meeting took place last Monday the 22nd with an introduction from the founder of Pebble Watch, Eric Migicovsky, after which the many attendants where divided in smaller break-out rooms to get to know some of the fellow founders in the programme. Moises Barbera took this opportunity to share the work we do with startups based in Finland, Malaysia, USA...

We look forward to the new operational ideas our CEO will bring into Drill Surgeries Ltd. this summer.
