Exciting update to talk about after a long and busy summer.
Before stopping physical work at our offices at Sensor City for summer, we received the support of the European Development Regional Fund to help us with the development of the software side of our medical device.
Thanks to this fund we spent all summer working remotely with an outstanding team of engineers from the UK and we have finally produced the first version of our proof of concept software, featuring Augmented Reality and tracking/3D-location fundamentals under which a part of the algorithms we develop are based.
While we keep contacting and been contacted by surgeons and other professionals in the healthcare sector, we can now use this software to showcase the potential of the work we are doing at Drill Surgeries while receiving invaluable feedback.
